Hey guys.
I went to Run with Us the other day to pick up a hodge podge of various running accessories. After I mention I was from the Caltech team, my salesman mentioned that Run with Us is starting up a road race series. There is a tral 5k tomorrow (a bit late notice), and a trail 10k next Saturday. Its held in Hahamongna Watershed Park, which I'm pretty sure is that big empty watershed area south of JPL. My salesperson said its still a pretty small race, and that we are welcome to use it as a tempo run or w.e. The entry fees aren't terrible (15 or 20). Here is a link if you want to register.

I'm not in shape yet to run a 10k (nor are my Achilles' in any shape to race either), so I won't run it , but if any of you guys do, I might come and cheer.

Someone should definitely scope this out, if for no other reason then just to find a new dirt course for tempo workouts.
I have a long ride planned for tomorrow morning so the 5k is definitely out for me, but I could be up for a 10k workout by next Sat.
What happened to holding off on the intensity?
