I ran with the two Irvine guys who went 1-2 one day over the summer. They're definitely fast.
According to the results, the women's race was about 550m short.

Seriously. What was these folks' problem? Let me elaborate:
1) no lead bike to guide the runners; 2 out of 3 races going the wrong way is bad.
2) not enough bathrooms, that is, it was totally fucking piss-poor.
3) everyone working there was Mr. Grumpertons, yelling at folks and shit.
What a lamesauce invite. What happened?! All we need is good course management, a spigot for some water, and some honeybuckets. Or at least some reasonable bushes/orange trees.
I think we ran that field 7 different times. Need I say more.
