An open letter of pleading.

Dear Markkimarkkonnen,

I love your writing. You make me smile on my face, and also deep inside my soul, and sometimes in my special purpose. I don't know if it's what you write about, or just how you write, but it is good.

Therefore I would like you to continue to write for the Tech, if you can, so that the paper doesn't suck donkey balls, and so that there is a reason to open it up other than to set it on fire or use it for toilet paper or to make giant paper mache penises.

Sincerely,
Katherine

oh! when i was a freshman, we DID make a giant 6 ft tall paper mache penis... well to be fair the shaft was a large orange construction PVC pipe that we stole from the sync lot.

Yeah, I heard something about that when I had to go to sexual harassment sensitivity training.

I've been talking to Marissa, the editor, from time to time. I'm semi-committed to writing a book review of James Watson's "Avoid Boring People" for the second issue. As for cross country stories, I don't know yet.
