The qualifiers for nationals have been announced. Here is who is going from SCIAC:

Alicia Freese (P-P)
Evelyn Ross (CMS)
Maddie Weissman (Oxy)
Chris Smith qualifies as an individual for the second year in a row, so congratulations to him. He's a real performer in cross, always coming through big at the end of the season. He wasn't happy with the race at nationals last year, but he gets another shot.
No women's teams, but there were a few individual qualifiers.

as a 1-2 punch, chaves and ramon were the best in the nation, followed by colorado college (in 21st) and THEN the top three teams
Sweet.
Looks like Chaves was vying for the W with Sigl and Kosgei - awesome. Team-wise, the West choked again. Bearcats ranked 5th, finished 18th? When's the last time they finished even close to their ranking? Maybe 2001 when they were seventh.
It's cool to see a SCIAC person finish top 10 at nationals consistently: 2001 (Juiliano), 2004 & 2005 (Crosby), 2006 (Leer), 2007 (Chaves). Honorable mention = Ranger.
