Leer Goes Sub-4

Did we all miss this? Two weeks ago he ran 3:59.8 to win the mile at the UW indoor preview meet. His 3:40 from last summer is a superior mark, but still, it's nice to make his membership int he sub-4 club official. results

He's entered in an 800 at the same venue this afternoon (Feb 2), so maybe we'll see another PR update soon.

badass!

he ran 149.9 for the 800, which i think is just outside his PR, but it's harder to PR indoors at the 800 than the mile

That UW indoor track is huge - 350m or something?

Take a look at this this video of the DMR at UW's most recent meet. Not only does Will anchor the OTC with a 3:57 1600 to win, but check out how that last leg unfolds (and who he beats).

Ha, pretty good! Remember on the SCIAC message board, when Mark posted something like: Can Will beat the best high schooler, AJ A.? And Will said something like 'I value myself to highly to be beat by a high schooler'.

Leer pwning n00bs as usual. I fondly remember my days as one such n00b who was pwned by Leer. I will indeed miss those.

Uh, that was AJ Acosta, fastest high school miler of 2006. He can run 4:00.37. Not a noob.
