The rematch for World Cross Champion will be in Scotland on Sunday. Bekele lost last year for the first time ever as a senior at world cross (I think that's correct). He has 15 World Cross gold medals. Yes, 15. Given Bekele's record and the circumstances last year (insane heat, Bekele led at first but DNF), it seems ludicrous to bet against him.
But on the other hand, Tadese is also extremely good and is not afraid of Bekele's reputation. And there have been hints that, at 25, Bekele is already past his peak, and no longer the record-setting Bekele we saw in 2004/2005.
Tadese briefly held the world record in the half, has been a top contender at 10K on the track, and is defending world cross champion. The race is 12K, pandering more to Tadese's efficiency and endurance than Bekele's speed. Thoughts?
(There are actually more than two people in the race, I know.)

25 and past his peak? Nonsense. Bekele has the ability to bring the world records even lower, possibly even down to 12:30 and 26:00 range.
Tadese had a good day last year, but Bekele is king.
Yep.
