What Gender Is Your Blog?

According to the GenderAnalyzer, our blogs are

Garrett: 60% man, but quite gender neutral
Chief: 53% man, but quite gender neutral
Cupcake: 60% man
Dennis: 54% woman, but quite gender neutral
Ian: couldn't get it to read
Kangway: 65% man
Katherine: 63% man
Markkimarkkonnen: 69% man
My other blog (arcsecond.wordpress): 78% man
My other blog's previous life on blogger: 88% woman
Matt: 54% man, but quite gender neutral
Megumi: 51% woman, but quite gender neutral
Ogliore: 62% woman
RunBikeThink: 72% man

The lesson is that I am both the most masculine and most feminine of all. Katherine is the third-manliest among us, although when we combine we gain more manliness than any of us has individually. Megumi is essentially sexless, and Matt and Dennis are perfect foils.

However, I should note that the software, according to the poll on their site, has a 55% accuracy rate at guessing the gender of a blog author. I could probably do better than that with the algorithm "always guess man". Of course, there is probably also a bias in how likely you are to answer the survey, depending on whether or not it worked.

This thing is a crap shoot.

Actually, it's just crap.

I copied my last 4 exercise log posts into ivanshapiro.blogspot.com. For each post individually it predicts 60%, 73%, 81%, 78% man. But for the entire blog (containing only those 4 posts) it comes up with 54% woman. Go figure.
